Who Is Eligible?
To qualify for the AI Scribe Program, you must be a primary care clinician practicing in Canada, including:
- Family physicians
- Nurse practitioners
- Registered nurses in remote communities
- Pediatricians providing longitudinal care in the community

How to Participate in the AI Scribe Program
Check your eligibility for the AI Scribe Program by visiting the AI Scribe Program page and selecting your province or territory.
If eligible, review the registration pathway and available solutions in your region.
If available and preferred, select Autochart.ai and begin your registration process:
1. Create your account
Sign up on autochart.ai. You’ll start with a free 30-day trial—no credit card required.
2. Indicate your interest
During sign-up, check the box in the welcome popup that says:
"Are you a Family Physician, Pediatrician, Nurse Practitioner, or Registered Nurse practicing in a rural area....."
3. We’ll handle the rest
We’ll automatically submit your name to Canada Health Infoway. You’ll receive an email confirming your eligibility—usually within one week.
4. Enjoy full access
While your application is being processed, you’ll have full use of the platform during the 30-day free trial, and if approved, your account will be upgraded to a free 14-month license.
